Industrial I/O Mini-ITX Motherboards

Industrial Mini-ITX Motherboard with LVDS and eDP

Direct embedded-panel integration for industrial HMI, panel PC, and compact display systems.

Select the board together with the LCD panel, cable, backlight, touch controller, BIOS configuration, and enclosure. A matching connector alone does not confirm panel compatibility.

LVDS and eDP Configuration for Embedded Panels

LVDS and eDP support define the platform focus. The panel model determines the electrical, firmware, cable, and power details.

Application Fit

Systems That Benefit from Direct Panel Interfaces

Choose integrated LVDS or eDP when the LCD is part of the product rather than an external monitor.

Use an external display interface when

the monitor must be replaced freely in the field, long detachable cables are required, or standard HDMI/DisplayPort compatibility matters more than a controlled embedded panel assembly.

Panel Selection Questions

LVDS and eDP Panel Integration FAQ

Confirm the panel-specific decisions that can change the final board, cable, and firmware release.

Can one motherboard connector accept both LVDS and eDP panels?

No. LVDS and eDP are different interfaces. Use the connector and pinout assigned to the selected interface, then match the panel timing, power, backlight, cable, and BIOS configuration.

Can the LVDS and eDP outputs operate at the same time?

Simultaneous operation depends on the processor display engine, board routing, multiplexing, BIOS, and the selected panel configuration. Confirm the required display combination on the exact board revision.

Can the motherboard power the LCD panel and backlight directly?

Only when the available panel rail and backlight path match the required voltage, current, sequencing, enable polarity, and PWM control. External power circuitry may be required for some panels.

How is the touchscreen connected?

Touch is usually a separate interface from the video link. Confirm whether the controller uses USB or I²C, plus the cable, driver, calibration, orientation, and operating-system support.

What must be rechecked when the LCD panel model changes?

Recheck the interface, resolution, timing, mapping, lane or channel count, panel voltage, backlight requirements, connector, cable pinout, touch controller, BIOS profile, and enclosure fit.
